Additional Facilities and Services

Recruiting Centre:

Manpower Services Nepal operates a recruiting facility in Nepal where selection and training can be carried out. The centre is located in 15 acres of land and includes permanent accommodation for 50 people together with all the necessary facilities such as washrooms, dining rooms, storerooms and offices. The camp has a permanent staff including cooks, security guards, waiters and cleaners.

Management Services:

Should a number of Nepalis / Gurkhas be required for a particular contract, Manpower Services can also provide a management service. In the case of ex-Gurkhas, this could include the employment of either a former British officer or commissioned Gurkha officer to oversee the contract in country. Suitably qualified personnel would also be found to manage either of the other categories as supervisors. Management services would also include recruiting, selection, pre deployment training, equipping, deployment, managing pay rolls and welfare, regular liaison and visits between Manpower Services Nepal and the client.

Adventure Training:

The sister company of Manpower Services has for 15 years run a trekking and rafting company in Nepal. The company owns mountain lodges and rafting camps. It also operates tent-based treks. Trips to Nepal of varying length and difficulty can be organised depending on client requirements. Many organisations use this company for leadership/management/corporate programs and courses.

Pre Deployment Training :

Manpower Services Nepal can offer the client pre deployment training packages. Depending on requirements, this will usually last 3 days. Subjects covered include country orientation, Job/ equipment familiarisation, medical training, team organisation, issue of equipment and final documentation. Further training can be organised depending on client requirements.

Screening and Recruiting :

Manpower Services Nepal will conduct screening and recruiting services to meet with client requirements. We encourage the client to be present during final selection. This will be conducted with the assistance of a former British or Gurkha officer. Screening includes army record checks, police checks and medicals.

Vetting Services :

Manpower Services Nepal will conduct a vetting service for clients that may already have selected personnel. This will include record checks, police checks and language ability tests.

Equipment :

Manpower Services Nepal is also able to source and supply clothing and equipment to meet client requirements. Samples including logos can be supplied upon request.

Nepal Visits :

Manpower Services Nepal can organise client visits to Nepal. Services include domestic flight ticketing, hotel reservations, meet and greet services, transport, guides and permits where necessary
