Terms and Conditions Salaries : The following are guidelines and will vary depending on contract location. Salaries are quoted in US dollars and should be paid monthly. Depending on the service provided by Manpower Services Nepal, salaries could either be paid directly into the employee's bank accounts or through a central clearing bank. We would suggest that US$100 per month per person be deducted from monthly salaries and paid to the employee for local expenses.
Recruiting Centre : This is priced on a per person per day basis. If 50 personnel are required, 150 candidates would be brought forward for selection. Charges would be levied on the 150. The cost for this service will be US$50 per person per day. The minimum stay will be 5 days, which will include travelling to and from the facility. The fee includes a travel allowance, food and accommodation. Pre Deployment Training : This is tailored to meet client requirements. Most courses however last 3 days and will cost US$300 per man attending the course. The cost includes accommodation, road allowance, food and instructors. Equipment : Manpower Services Nepal can provide the client will a full clothing and equipment package for employees. Client requirements can be discussed and a price provided. 2 sets of shirts and trousers, including fleece, waterproofs, tracksuit, t-shirts, shorts, sleeping bag, liner and duffel bag would cost US$200 per set. Quotes for body armour, helmets and weapons and specialised equipment can also be provided. Vetting : This service will cost the client US$250 per man. Screening and recruiting : This service will cost the client between US$400 and US$1000 per man recruited. The fee will depend on numbers required. Nepal visits : Most clients who visit Nepal will spend one week in country. Manpower Services Nepal can organise such visits. The cost would be US$750. This includes accommodation including breakfast in a 4 star hotel, internal flights, reception and road transfers. Visas and work permits : These should be provided by the client Airfares : Manpower Services can organise the purchase of return tickets to Nepal. Food and accommodation : These should be provided by the client. In some cases when the employment contract is long term, the employee will be provided with an allowance reflected in his / her salary whereby food and accommodation will become their responsibility. Holiday : This should be a minimum of 20 days plus local holidays. Overtime / Bonus : Depending on location of the deployment, clients should either pay standard overtime as per the rules and regulations of the country of work or, where not possible a one month’s bonus should be included in the employment contract. Turnkey Operation : Included in this service will be screening, selection, training, processing, equipping, deployment including airfares, payroll management, welfare services, liaison between client and Manpower Services Nepal. Prices for this service will depend on the country of deployment and the number of personnel required. Contract Terms : Contracts should be a minimum of 6 months. Contracts will unaccompanied. Insurance : Depending on the location of deployment, the client should provide complete medical and injury cover which should include death and re patriation of the body to Nepal. Manpower Services Nepal can provide the client with the name of a local insurance company or a Lloyd’s registered broker who will provide cover for special contingency risks. Note: Prospective employers will have to comply with the rules and regulations of Nepal for the recruiting of Nepalese citizens for work overseas. These procedures include a letter of demand, a specimen employment contract, a letter of authorisation to Manpower Services to act as agent and the necessary letter of authority to a local consul to issue a visa.
